I recently discovered the awesomeness that is craigslist. If you haven’t heard of it, basically it’s a classified ad system on the internet. It’s kinda like eBay, but specific to your area. I like it a lot better because of this!
Also, it doesn’t take part of your money like eBay does. I guess it’s run off of the ads on the site (which I don’t see cause of adblock – I’ll explain that later). And, you don’t need to create an account to post something for sale – just fill out an easy form and you’re on your way!
I already put one thing up for sale – 2 sticks of 512mb laptop RAM that I replaced with higher-capacity RAM as soon as I got my laptop. The great thing is, anyone can e-mail you, even a 5-year-old. Lucky me, I think I got the 5-year-old. Here is my actual first e-mail that I received:
“I WANT THEM DO U NEED ANY THING MAYBE A TRADE BUT IF NOT I WILL PAY OK [phone# removed]”
That’s it. That’s the whole e-mail. Just great. I sure hope someone else makes an offer. I don’t want to negotiate with a little kid.
As far as the blog goes, I don’t know how often I’ll make a post. I want to try to post one thing per day but I don’t know if I can find that much stuff to post. When my job starts this summer, maybe there will be more exciting things going on that I can post about. Maybe someone will actually come and read this. That would be pretty cool.

Not that I really like BASIC, but it just came to mind. This is my first text post. I already posted a couple cool quotes, so I guess that’s an unusual way to start a blog. I like the idea of Tumblr… Dunno if I’ll keep up this blog but I thought I’d give it a try.
